Complex Systems Orientation

A Complex System can give a good idea of the behavior of the whole.

Complex systems and adaptive systems change processes are providing new mental models, emergent strategies, and co-creative processes that are enhancing engagement of multiple sectors and stakeholders, facilitating collaborative learning by building new productive interactions, and stimulating higher levels of creativity, which are yielding novel and non-predictable solutions to wickedly resistant problems.

The services that children and families need are arrayed in different sectors, provided by different programs, in different institutions, that are guided by different administrative requirements and funded by different funding streams and mechanisms. Aligning, integrating and creating a simple and easy to use family-friendly interface requires understanding the procedures that can make a needlessly complicated process more user-friendly and simple, so that it can serve to support the complex process of health development.
